We offer a range of cosmetic treatments like facials, laser hair removal and chemical skin peel
Laser Hair Removal / Chemical Peel - Initial Consultation and Patch Test Only - 20min - £25
It is mandatory to have a Patch test at least 24 hr prior to any aesthetic treatments. We would highly recommend you book an Initial Consultation + Patch Test separately before your first Laser Hair Removal / Chemical Peel appointment. This visit is to understand your concerns/needs / expected outcome, assess your skin/hair any contraindications, and medical and medication history then offer a patch test and determine if you are the right candidate for the treatment. We could also discuss the number of sessions required based on your desired outcome. The price of treatment depends on the area to be treated and the duration of the treatment.
For this appointment (if for laser hair removal) you will have to come without shaving/waxing, so we can assess the hair type and maybe take before/after pictures of the area to be treated with your consent.
We recommend you follow a standard post-treatment protocol for better results as well as to avoid any adverse events:
Use soothing gels, damp cotton pads or aloe vera to cool the area if the hot sensation or feeling of warmth remains after treatment. Do not put ice directly onto the skin’s surface or a freezer burn may occur.
Apply moisturiser or aloe vera gel regularly. A couple of times a day immediately after the treatment. This will avoid the skin from becoming too dry.
Wear loose clothing to avoid friction on treated areas such as bikini line, legs, arms, chest, abdomen etc
Avoid vigorous exercise for 12-24 hours
Avoid hot baths, showers, or heat treatments (sauna, steam rooms, heavily chlorinated swimming pools and hot tubs) for 24 hours
Keep the area free from deodorants, make-up, aromatherapy oils or perfumed products for 24 hours before and after the treatment
Avoid sun exposure in the treatment area and always wear a high-factor sun protection cream (SPF 30 minimum) after and between treatments
Stop using sun beds and fake tanning products in the treatment area (fake tan can be applied 48 hours after treatment. However, before the next treatment is carried out fake tan should not be applied a minimum of 10 days prior to treatment)
Stop waxing, plucking, or using any other form of epilation in the treatment area, three months prior to starting the treatment (IPL and laser require hair to be in the follicle during treatment)
Contact the clinic if excessive blistering, crusting, or swelling in the treatment area is experienced
Do not wax or epilate while you are undergoing laser treatment. You may have to wait for 3 months to resume your treatment if you wax or epilate. If need be, you are advised only to shave/trim in between the treatment sessions.
Note:
Most dos and Don’ts are similar for laser hair removal and chemical peel treatments
Book an initial consultation + patch test for the laser to start your skincare journey!

+ Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal is a lasting and painless way to get rid of your unwanted body hair. This is not necessarily a permanent solution unless you have one or two top-up sessions every year or every six months. This depends on how fast your hair grows.
Laser hair removal works by a technique called ‘selective Photothermolysis’. Laser light targets the melanin pigments in the hair to damage the hair follicle, thereby preventing it from growing back. Well-controlled laser light penetrates the upper layer of the skin and is absorbed by melanin in the hair. Melanin converts light energy into heat. This heat is transferred to the hair follicle and destroyed.
The hair grows in three phases. The growing phase is called anagen; regressing phase is called catagen; and the resting phase is called telogen. Laser hair removal is more effective when the hairs are in the anagen phase as the hairs are still attached to their follicles at this phase. At any given time, the majority of the body hairs are in the telogen phase, at this phase the hairs are not attached to their follicles. The laser is ineffective at this phase. The resting hair follicles need to enter the anagen phase before they can be effectively destroyed, which explains why it is necessary to repeat the treatment at intervals. Most often you require at least six sessions to see a minimum of 70% reduction in hair growth. The length and timing of the hair growth cycles depend on a number of factors like hair density, thickness, body area, hormonal status, age and ethnic origin.
We use a triple-wave combined, diode laser technology. Alex 755nm is ideal for lighter and thinner hair as it offers powerful energy absorption in melanin. Diode 808nm is safer for darker hair types, as it offers deeper penetration. YAG 1064nm is suitable for darker skin as the absorption of melanin is low. Our fast and powerful hair removal device offers a virtually pain-free hair removal experience for most skin types. The temperature-controlled ice barrier provides more comfortable treatments. Treatment areas targeting small areas may take around 10min and full body may take more than 2.5 hr per session.
Treatment areas offered for men are the face, neck, chest, abdomen, arms, armpits, back, butt, perianal, pubic (Brazilian, Hollywood), bikini, thighs, legs, feet, toes, hands, whole body
Treatment areas offered for women are the face, arms, armpits, thighs, legs
Our recommendations for better results: Use soothing gels, damp cotton pads or aloe vera to cool the area if the hot sensation or feeling of warmth remains after treatment. Do not put ice directly onto the skin’s surface or a freezer burn may occur. Apply moisturiser or aloe vera gel regularly. A couple of times a day immediately after the treatment. This will avoid the skin from becoming too dry. Wear loose clothing to avoid friction on treated areas such as bikini line, legs, arms, chest, abdomen etc Avoid vigorous exercise for 12-24 hours Avoid hot baths, showers, or heat treatments (sauna, steam rooms, heavily chlorinated swimming pools and hot tubs) for 24 hours Keep the area free from deodorants, make-up, aromatherapy oils or perfumed products for 24 hours before and after the treatment Avoid sun exposure in the treatment area and always wear a high-factor sun protection cream (SPF 30 minimum) after and between treatments Stop using sun beds and fake tanning products in the treatment area (fake tan can be applied 48 hours after treatment. However, before the next treatment is carried out fake tan should not be applied a minimum of 10 days prior to treatment) Stop waxing, plucking, or using any other form of epilation in the treatment area, three months prior to starting the treatment (IPL and laser require hair to be in the follicle during treatment) Allow a 4-6 weeks gap between each treatment until 8 sessions and then top up with one or two sessions once or twice a year for a more permanent result Contact the clinic if excessive blistering, crusting, or swelling in the treatment area is experienced Do not wax or epilate while you are undergoing laser treatment. You may have to wait for three months to resume your treatment if you wax or epilate. If need be, you are advised only to shave/trim in between the treatment sessions. During laser treatment, we would expect you to only trim (not shave) your treatment area 24 hr / a day before the treatment. We advise you not to wax or epilate during these sessions.
+ Electrolysis Hair Removal
Electrical epilation or Electrolysis used to remove unwanted or excessive hair growth. A fine needle is used to deliver an electrial current into the hair follicle to destroy the hair root. This destroys the hair follicle tissue from where the hair is created, perventing the hair from regrowing.
Electrolysis is a permanent way to get rid of unwanted hair. It is slightly painful compared to laser however, the results are long lasting and are useful on grey or lightly pigmented hair.
This is the optimal treatment for individuals with blonde or grey hair.
The frequency of your treatment sessions depends on the size of the treatment area. For larger surface areas, you may need to book sessions on a weekly basis to ensure complete hair removal. Once an electrolysis session successfully destroys a follicle, hair will not regrow from that specific follicle.
+ IPL Skin Rejuvenation
Intense Pulse Light (IPL) skin rejuvenation treatment is used for treating skin conditions like acne, fine line wrinkles, freckles, age spots, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, and vascular skin conditions.
Pulser IPL is light emitted between a wavelength of 515nm-550nm. Unlike laser light, IPL penetrates up to a depth of 1mm into the skin and is absorbed by the chromophores in the skin e.g., melanin, haemoglobin, etc. The chromophores are selectively destroyed as the light energy is converted into heat, without damaging the surrounding skin structures. This slows down the production of melanin by damaging the melanocytes. Therefore, ideal for targeting freckles, age spots and hyperpigmentation.
The heat is strongly absorbed into the target blood vessels, leading them to coagulate and break down. This creates a cascade of immune response where the white blood cells rush to the area and carry the particles and toxins away through, the lymph system. Useful in treating sensitive skin, and vascular lesions like spider naevi.
IPL allows regeneration of skin; increases blood flow to the dermis, thereby bringing in fresh oxygen and nutrients, hydrate and remove waste; may cause mild photodamage and stimulate fibroblast; thereby stimulating collagen production and structural organisation of collagen and elastin. IPL photo rejuvenation is a process of removing sun damage, stimulating new cell growth, and increasing collagen production giving the skin a more even tone and appearance. IPL is the best choice for treating early signs of ageing in people under 40 years of age.
IPL treatments are performed once every 3-4 weeks. Pre and post-treatment advice for IPL is very similar to the laser hair removal treatment. A combination of treatment with IPL or chemical peels can be performed for treating acne, sensitive skin, pigmentation or ageing.

+ Hydro-dermabrasion / hydro-facial
Hydro-dermabrasion / hydro-facial, is a non-invasive skincare procedure that uses a specialised machine to exfoliate and hydrate the skin. The process involves several steps, including the use of Radio Frequency (RF) to tighten the skin:
- Cleansing and Toning: The treatment begins with a thorough cleansing and toning of the skin.
- Scrubbing: After applying a gentle peel, we scrub the skin to remove blackheads and congestion using a scraper.
- Hydro-microdermabrasion: This is the core part of the treatment, which resurfaces the skin by exfoliating dead skin cells and removing impurities from the pores.
- Ultrasound: High-frequency sound waves penetrate the skin, improving its appearance by increasing cellular turnover, plumping up the skin, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, tightening sagging skin, reducing enlarged pores, and fading freckles and age spots.
- Radio Frequency (RF): An electromagnetic device generates heat to stimulate the production of collagen, elastin, and new skin cells. This helps to tighten the skin, improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce sagging, making it a popular non-surgical facelift procedure.
- Cold Hammerhead: This tool applies temperatures between -10 to 40°C to the skin, shrinking pores and dilated blood vessels, soothing tired skin, reducing inflammation, promoting skin elasticity, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and sealing in moisture. It is also beneficial for acne, rosacea, and sun-damaged skin.
- Mask Application and LED Light Therapy: The treatment concludes with the application of a mask, LED light therapy, followed by a serum and SPF. Hydro-dermabrasion is suitable for all skin types but is particularly beneficial for those with sensitive skin or anyone seeking gentle exfoliation and increased hydration. It improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, congested and enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, oily or acne-prone skin, blackheads, large pores, scars, hyperpigmentation, and brown spots. However, it is not recommended for highly sensitive skin, weeping or severe acne, severe rosacea, or very thin skin.
+ Chemical Peel
Chemical/skin peel is an advanced dermo-cosmetic treatment designed to cause accelerated skin regeneration in a controlled manner through the application of chemo-exfoliation agents leading to a smoother, evenly pigmented, younger-looking skin. A peel improves skin texture and tone by removing the top layer of skin along with cellular build-up, imperfections and excess pigment. A series of peels over time will reduce scar tissue, acne, fine lines and wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. The word 'chemical peel' may sound daunting however it is generally done using mild fruit acids and enzymes which help in rejuvinating the skin.
Difference between facials and peels: Peels are slightly more invasive than a facial, as the peel is a treatment that removes the outer layer of the skin designed to combat signs of ageing, acne, and pigmentation, rejuvenate and refresh skin. Facial treatment aims at cleaning the pores, extracting blackheads and moisturising the skin whereas peels cleanse, treat/rejuvenate, repair and protect the target area of the skin. Peels are better for more advanced skin problems like acne, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, dull or dehydrated skin conditions, and signs of ageing and facials address more superficial issues. A gentle/light peel can be incorporated into a facial treatment and can-do wonders for skin to look bright, young and healthy. Peels are more therapeutic than only being cosmetic, therefore come with a programme, whereas facials are more cosmetic and could be done as and when needed. Though some mild/gentle cosmetic peels could be performed as and when required. A good quality peel treatment is a lot more expensive than a facial as the peeling products used are pharmaceutical-grade products which are released into the market after thorough research and development on a range of clinical skin conditions.
Please note: Peel does not necessarily need to involve aggressive peeling of the skin; it could be gentle shedding to mild peeling. Though this depends on the skin type and the type of product used as well as the depth of penetration of the peeling products, a good skincare regimen before and after peeling treatment can lead to gentle exfoliation or mild shedding. With our products and the techniques, we use we are able to achieve the desired results with minimal or no peeling.
Peeling Products: Peeling products are generally derived from natural substances e.g., glycolic acid from sugarcane, lactic acid from milk, salicylic from the bark of white willow, mandelic acid from bitter almonds, azelaic acid from wheat, phytic acid from grains, resorcinol from phenol, citric acid from lime/orange, papain from papaya, bromine from pineapple, algae from deep sea algae, some amino acids and enzymes like hyaluronic acids are natural compounds derived with a help of biotechnological tools.
Always disclose your allergies or intolerances to your practitioner as some of our products are derived from aspirin, milk, nuts, wheat, ray, barley, grains, etc. In case of allergies or intolerances, we choose an alternative product, which is suitable for you.
Mechanism of Peeling: Cell naturally regenerates and renews itself on average every 28 days. This natural process becomes slower as we age, during adolescence, pregnancy and menopause, leading to open pores, wrinkles, lacklustre skin, age-related dark spots, acne-prone skin, etc. Other external factors which affect this process are stress, unhealthy lifestyle, exposure to UV rays, etc.
Peels act by accelerating the exfoliation of the skin by dissolving the intracellular glue which holds the dead skin cells together. It enhances the removal of external layers of dead skin cells, stimulates cell renewal, young new fresh healthy cells are brought to the surface of the skin, reorganises, and stimulates the production of structural dermal elements like collagen, elastin, glycosaminoglycan and essential components of extracellular matrix alongside increasing the hydration in the dermis, enhancing volume and keep plump and smooth down wrinkles.
Unlike chemical peels Algae peels work by a manual exfoliation technique, the more they are massaged the deeper the peel penetrates. When sea herbs are massed into the skin they get activated and release ions which create a natural chemical response that initiates a cascade of cellular processes. The deep delivery of minerals and vitamins from the sea herbs help in conditioning and improving skin health. Algae peels contain antioxidants that assist in protecting the skin from free radicals. Deep sea peels require up to 7 days of post-care with mild to significant shedding.
What does the peel do to the skin? We use a range of peeling products which help in purifying and oxygenating the skin, closing open pores, evening out tone, lightening and reducing skin hyperpigmentation, fighting the signs of ageing and acne, maintaining elasticity, leaving the skin free from impurities, hydrated, improve texture, and increase epidermal thickness, reduce wrinkles, reduce skin imperfections, add luminosity, improve brightness and improve the appearance of scars.
Which is the right peel for my skin? Peels are selected based on the nature of the condition to be treated, as well as the client’s individual characteristics. For the peels to be more effective we recommend a programme tailored to specific skin conditions e.g., acne, ageing, hyperpigmentation, sensitive skin, dull, dehydrated skin, skin rejuvenation, etc. Some peels can be used to optimise other medical-aesthetic procedures like mesotherapy, facial implants, botulinum toxin, electroporation, iontophoresis, radiofrequency, phototherapy, etc.
Ageing: As we age the elasticity, firmness and thickness of the skin reduces. Early signs of ageing are fine lines, mild alteration of pigments, dynamic wrinkles, solar lentigo, telangiectasis, and palpable keratosis. As we age the signs become more pronounced with senile lentigo, telangiectasias, seborrheic keratosis, and yellow/greyish skin colour. Our glycolic acid-containing peels are very helpful in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, increasing hydration, eliminating blackheads, reduce photodamage. Peels are a better option than Botox for early or mild to moderate signs of ageing. They are less invasive, therefore, suitable for people who fear needles and want to have younger and healthier-looking skin. Botox could be reserved for late signs of ageing or people above 60 years of age.
Hyperpigmentation: Hyperpigmentation occurs because of the overproduction of melanin by melanocytes. They appear in the areas of greater photo exposure. There are several trigger factors like UVA, UVB, HEV (high energy visible lights from your laptop or mobile devices), genetics, ageing, photosensitising medicines, hormones, chemicals, and inflammatory response. Some of the conditions of hyperpigmentation are melasma, freckles, solar and senile lentigos, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. We use a wide range of depigmentation products which can be used on various parts of the body including intimate areas for anal bleach or intimate bleach treatments. For better results, you need to avoid the triggers as well as use these products for a long time.
Acne and Oily skin: Obstruction by dead skin, dirt, bacteria, make up – not cleansed properly enter the follicular canal and this combines with the oils leading to obstruction, comedones (whitehead), blackhead, inflammation, the proliferation of saprophytic microflora, acne, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and scarring. There are various factors which contribute to acne, too dry leathery skin, oily skin, hormones, age, hygiene, etc. Make sure the skin is cleansed and exfoliated regularly to remove excess oil, dirt, and dust is removed with help with attaining better results with the treatment. Our salicylic acid-containing peels are helpful in cutting the oil, controlling sebaceous secretions, reducing pore size, and evens skin tone. It is also useful in treating seborrheic dermatitis, acne rosacea, mild to moderate keratosis as well as superficial acne scars.
Sensitive skin: Sensitive is a common skin condition and not a medical diagnosis, caused by irritation of the nerve endings in the top layer of the skin. This skin is prone to irritation, redness, inflammation, oedema, tenderness to the touch, flacking and feeling dry and tight. This occurs when the skin’s natural barrier function is weakened and has broken down due to a trigger or adverse reaction. Triggering factors are sun exposure (acne rosacea), extreme temperature, wind, chemical agents (unsuitable cosmetics or skincare products, medical products, etc), diet habits, exercise, and emotions.
Rosacea is one of the most common sensitive skin conditions prevalent in middle-aged women who have light skin. While there is no cure for rosacea, treatment can control and reduce the signs and symptoms like facial redness, swelling, red bumps, rhinophyma (enlarged nose), and acne rosacea. Our lactic acid-containing products are very helpful in addressing sensitive skin conditions.
We combine our time-tested ayurvedic treatments to attain better and lasting results. During our consultation, we recommend a range of Ayurvedic herbs along with peeling agents for the treatment of sensitive skin, acne, and ageing. Internal detox or purification of the body from toxins will help eliminate free radicals, reduce stress, and regulate hormone levels, thereby maintaining health and youth not just in the skin but also in the joints, mind, and soul. A good diet, exercise and a stress-free lifestyle is an answers to all health-related problems from sensitive skin to ageing.
The target area for peels: Peels can be performed on any part of the body if there is skin. Most peels can be applied on any part of your body, face, neck, décolleté, hands, legs, back, buttocks, full body, and intimate areas. Algae peels are not suitable for intimate areas.
In the case of some peels full body treatments cannot be done in one sitting therefore the treatments need to be performed in two or three sittings. Cosmetic peels can be performed as a one-off treatment on any part of the body for certain special occasions like weddings or events.
Treatment areas offered for men are most parts of the body and for women are limited to the face, arms, legs
If peels are applied to the body, we recommend you follow a specific post-treatment protocol to avoid any friction and maintain the treated area with care.
Ideal duration of the treatment: Some peels can be performed as a one-off treatment for cosmetic purposes e.g., toning and brightening of skin for special occasions like a wedding or before an important event. Those who just need or want a light peel can usually get them every month as part of their facial treatment.
For therapeutic purpose, we recommend performing a peel several times a year helps maintain a healthy appearance and improve skin texture as a preventative action against ageing, acne, hyperpigmentation, etc. The frequency depends on the type of peel applied and the indication. We recommend a course of six peels for treating hyperpigmentation, ageing, acne, or a sensitive skin treatment programme. One peel every two weeks. This may increase/change over time and continually assess the skin. Not more than two courses per year. We recommend you give a break of three months between courses.
We work with a wide range of peeling products therefore we have a product that works for anybody and everybody on any part of the body, can be performed as part of maintenance programmes once a month or as a one-off treatment. This could be discussed during your initial consultation for peels.
Standard protocol: For attaining the best results adequate skin preparation and post-treatment care and follow-up treatments are essential. We recommend a wide range of products for home use designed to prepare, improve, and extend the results obtained in the clinic. Pre- and post-peel care is vital for attaining desired results as well as preventing any adverse effects of the peel. We recommend the application of moisturisers, SPF 50+ and other recommend products by us as part of post-peel care to prevent excessive peeling, and risk of adverse reactions like post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, hot spot, faux frosting, etc.
Recommended Home maintenance Pre-peel - 15 days prior to the peel We prescribe you a set of home performance renewal treatments for 15 days before the peel (one daily application at night) will optimise the therapeutic response, preparing the skin and minimising possible adverse reactions.
Post-peel Apply the post-procedure products, which also include SPF50+ for sustained results as well as for minimising possible adverse reactions. Each peeling products come with its own downtime, most with a minimum of 24 to 48 hr. Especially during the downtime we suggest you apply moisturisers and SPF 50+ 3-4 times a day and avoid direct exposure to sun. Peeling treatments on the body require you to wear loose clothes, and avoid any kind of friction, sauna, steam, etc. We also have peels which may not require any downtime.
Please note: A patch test is mandatory to be done a minimum of 24 hr before any Laser Hair Removal / Chemical Peel treatment. We would highly recommend you book an Initial Consultation + Patch Test separately before your first Laser Hair Removal / Chemical Peel appointment.
